"I am in no competition with no one. I have no desire to play the game of being better than anyone. I am simply trying to be better than the person I was yesterday."

It bothers me a bit that I will draw art like this^ on my Nintendo 3DS for commissions and people will still ask me to draw them stuff on paper with pencils. But when you see articles about people making nice art with non-traditional means, like duct tape art or actual garbage piled up to make shadows, suddenly everyone finds it amazing. Where as I get comments like “I think you’d do much better if you drew with pencil and paper, imho”.I like painting on my Nintendo 3DS. It is now my preferred method of arting and I don’t feel that it should be looked at as less than what is shown here, just because it’s not drawn on paper. The app I use is called “Colors! 3D”. It is made to simulate actual painting. You only get two paint brushes and an eraser. No photoshop tools whatsoever. So you work with what you get and you can’t manipulate anything. There is a playback feature so you can see how people painted. So it shows proof that no tracing is done (at least on my part. Self taught, never traced). If you own a 3DS with the app, or a computer that offers 3D viewing, you can see my “paintings” pop out in 3D, the way they are meant to be viewed. But seeing them in 2D isn’t really bad either.Anywho, that’s all. I just hope that, someday, I’ll be recognized for making art on a tiny little gaming system rather than being told to go back to traditional stuff like most anyone else.

You my friend are fucking beyond talented… don’t let anyone tell you any different. Often non artists don’t understand the complexity of creating art…especially digital art. I don’t know, they think the computer does it all or something…
Anyway, I thought this was a photo at first, then when I realized it was digital I was pretty impressed…however when you told us it was created with a 3ds? Fuck man, they should hire you to advertise the capabilities of their devices because DAMN that is some skill you have there!
